DREADY BRAND

A brand thats very very close to my heart. In fact this brand is my late farthers legacy, a legacy that is all about love, peace and unity. Dready was a brand that grew and concered the UK and Europe in the late 90's . A man with so many proffessions that one title couldnt hold him back Robert Sidlauskas was a singer/songwriter, artist, guitarist, performer, designer but best of all my father.

The re-release of Dready came back with avengance, the first two collections featured 7 t-shirts with originals from the sketchbooks of Robert, with a A/W lookbook featuring DJ Oneman. For those who are not that familiar with Dready, he quickly became the Mickey Mouse of UK street culture during the 1990’s.

For Dready the excitement when long term fan Rob Ackroyd from Florence and the Machine got in touch about relaunching if course the guys at Dready were over the moon. Just some of the amazing things he has done has got Dready noticed by the amazing guys at Vice and even Complex Mag.

Not a day goes by that i dont think about my dad and the amazing things he has achieved, so to see that the messages he wanted to share with the world are still getting out there even after his passing, its all becuase of you fabulous people. Thank you.

As we look to start this new chapter without him, his spirit, name and creativity will be carried on; with as much love, respect and unity as he showed in his life.
